The Legal Hand Call-In Center of the Capital Region
At Legal Hand, trained community Volunteers, who are not lawyers, provide free information, assistance, and referrals to help people resolve issues that affect their lives, in the area like employment, housing, family, immigration domestic violence, and benefits, and try to prevent problems from turning into legal actions. There are no eligibility requirements, and all are welcome. We provide assistance by phone, text, email and chat. We can also meet with you virtually.
Legal Hand now serves 11 Counties:
Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington
