Current Office Holder - Joe DiCaprio:
I have been working as an Assistant Superintendent for the Schenectady City School District since September of 2023. Prior to my current role, I served as the Executive Director of Elementary Schools, and as an elementary principal in Schenectady from 2008 through 2023, in the Superintendent’s Office, and as principal at Woodlawn Elementary School beginning in 2012, and at Pleasant Valley Elementary School, beginning in 2008 . From 2015 through 2021, I was the principal of Rosendale Elementary School in the Niskayuna Central School District, before returning to the Schenectady City School District in September 2021.
I have been on the Center for Community Justice Board of Directors since January of 2016, and holds the current office of Treasurer, while previously holding the Secretary officer position.
